PHILIPP PLEIN

" Philipp Plein began his career designing furniture for family and friends. When his designs drew attention from the interior design industry, he founded his eponymous company. Not wanting to waste any material, Philipp Plein began making bags and accessories out of leftover leather, which he sold alongside his furniture and trade fairs. In 2003, when he was asked to design a lounge for a German trade fair for Moet & Chandon, he was also allowed to sell his accessories. He made over €100,000 in one day, and so his fashion brand was born a year later. Philipp Plein now has boutiques worldwide, with 40 retail stores now open."

FENDI

The brand was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. Fendi emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style. The collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld began in 1965 and in 1992 Silvia Venturini Fendi seconded him in the creative direction. In 2000 LVMH Group acquires FENDI becoming in 2001 its majority shareholder. In 2019 Silvia Venturini Fendi becomes Fendi’s Creative Director. Today Fendi is synonymous with quality, tradition, experimentation and creativity.

L.G.R

L.G.R's journey began in 2005 when Luca Gnecchi Ruscone ventured to Africa with his exiled photographer grandfather, who had once fallen for the continent during his time photographing the war effort in Asmara an Italian colony in Eritrea, Africa. Amidst rediscovered belongings held by the government, they unearthed a box filled with handcrafted eyewear from that era, fashioned by the same three families who continue to shape L.G.R's iconic designs today."

L.G.R eyewear is entirely handmade in Italy by three artisanal families, who build each frame from start to finish using traditional methods of production in order to deliver an authentic and noble product.

Celine

Celine, the iconic French fashion brand, traces its roots back to 1945 when Céline Vipiana and her husband, Richard, founded a made-to-measure children's shoe business in Paris. JOHN VARVATOS

An American international luxury men’s lifestyle brand founded by John Vavatos, which designs, manufactures, and retails high-end fashion. John Varvatos founded the company in late 1999. Varvatos had previously been the head of menswear design at Calvin Klein as well as the head of menswear design for all Polo Ralph Lauren brands and was responsible for the creation of the Polo Jeans Company. The debut clothing line was launched in 2000, a “black-less collection” in which Varvatos went against the popular fashion trends of the time. The success of this line would garner Varvatos the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Perry Ellis Newcomer Award for Menswear.

"Tom Ford is a fashion designer and film director who was the Creative Director of Gucci from 1994-2004. He founded his own Tom Ford fashion label in 2004. While studying architecture at the Paris campus of the Parsons School of Design, Tom Ford decided to switch to fashion. He became Womenswear Designer for Gucci in 1990 and Creative Director in 1994. Under Ford's direction, Gucci's annual sales grew to $3 billion.
